Football betting odds in naira: reading a 1X2 price
Football prices on a slip are decimal odds. Multiply the stake by the odds for the payout in naira, stake included, and divide 100 by the odds for the chance the price implies. One made-up 1X2 market, with ₦1,000 on each outcome:

The three chances add up to more than 100%. The extra 6.3 points are the bookmaker's margin, and every football price carries one. A higher price for the same outcome is better value; a higher price on a different outcome only means a smaller chance. Prices also move.
