How Mines works on 1win.ng, from first tile to cash out

Mines is an instant casino game: you set a stake, open tiles on a grid one by one and can cash out after any star, while a mine ends the round. 1win.ng lists "Mines" and "Mines 1win" from 1win Games plus a Pragmatic Play Mines, all in naira, and "Mines" has a demo while "Mines 1win" does not.

Mines game facts on 1win.ng: versions, demo and RTP

Mines here is the casino game, not the Minesweeper puzzle and not mining. Spribe, which makes a Mines of its own, says Africa accounts for 35% of its player base and that African players choose Mines alongside Aviator. On 1win.ng three titles carry the name, with different demo and RTP details.

As of September 2026. Casino lobbies change.

How a Mines round works, tile by tile

The MINES entry in the 1win.ng rules is short: a star or a mine sits under each tile, every star raises the amount you stand to collect, and you can cash out after any step.

  1. Set your stake in nairaPick the amount before you open a tile. Naira bet limits are not published, so read them in the game.
  2. Choose the number of mines, if your version offers itIn Spribe's Mines the mine count comes from a list and changes both the odds and the multiplier. Look for the same setting in the version you opened.
  3. Open one tileA star keeps the round going and raises the multiplier on screen.
  4. Cash out or open the next tileAfter every star you decide again: collect your stake times the current multiplier, or risk the whole amount on one more tile.
  5. Lose the stake if a mine turns upCash out is possible only after a successful step, so a mine closes the round before you can collect.

The arithmetic of one round

Made-up figures to show the maths: you stake ₦500 and the multiplier on screen reads 1.80x. Cash out and ₦900 comes back. Try one more tile, find a mine, and the round returns nothing. Real multipliers depend on the version and its settings.

How the mine count changes your risk

The one setting Spribe documents for its Mines is the number of mines. More mines on the same board make every tile more likely to hide one, and the multiplier steps are larger to match. Fewer mines leave more safe tiles, so you reach a cash-out point more often, in smaller steps.

Risk also climbs inside a single round. Every star you open removes a safe tile while the mines stay where they are, so the next tile is more likely to be a mine than the last one was. A long run of stars gets harder to extend, not easier. And the board you just lost on tells you nothing about where the mines sit in the next round.

The 1win.ng rules give no grid size or mine-count list, so check the settings screen of your version before a real stake.

RTP and house edge: Spribe's 97% and the 1win.ng builds

RTP is the share of all stakes a game is built to return over a very large number of rounds, and the house edge is the rest. Spribe's Mines page lists 97% for its own version, a 3% edge: ₦10,000 of total stakes has a theoretical long-run return of ₦9,700. That is a long-run average, not a forecast for your session.

The RTP of the two 1win Games versions is not published, and this guide has no confirmed figure for Pragmatic Play's Mines, so do not carry Spribe's number over to any of them. If the rules screen inside your version shows a return figure, use that one. No mine count or cash-out point removes the edge. The RTP and house edge guide compares games on these numbers.

Mines demo on 1win.ng: which version has one

Of the two 1win Games titles, only "Mines" opens in demo mode on 1win.ng. "Mines 1win" has no demo, and demo status for Pragmatic Play's Mines is not confirmed. Spribe's game page links a demo of its own Mines for desktop, tablet and mobile, but that is a different game from the ones on 1win.ng. A demo balance pays nothing out.

  • Practise the stop: pick a target number of stars and cash out when you reach it, even when the board feels friendly.
  • Change the mine count, if the version has that setting, and watch how far the multiplier moves after each star.
  • Treat demo streaks as noise. A good run on a practice balance does not carry into real rounds.

Can a Mines predictor or signal app see the board?

No. In Spribe's provably fair system for Mines, the layout comes from a server seed and your client seed with a nonce, combined into a SHA512 hash that is turned into mine positions. The server seed is generated on the game's side and you can change your own client seed, so a phone app or a Telegram bot has nothing to read the next board from.

How the 1win Games versions generate boards is not published, so an app that claims to read them has no documented method to point to. A "pattern generator" only draws shapes on an empty grid.

  • A paid "VIP" signal tier, or a 1win mines predictor bot on Telegram that wants money first, is selling guesses.
  • Nobody who asks for your 1win.ng password is helping you play.
  • A "mines signal app" APK from another website is not from 1win.ng, which links no Google Play or App Store listing and offers only its own Android APK.

The explainer on predictor apps takes the same claims apart for Aviator, where Spribe publishes its full seed rules.

Checklist before you stake real naira

  • Set a naira budget for the session and close the game when it is spent.
  • Fix your stake and your cash-out point, such as a set number of stars, before the first tile.
  • After a mine, keep the same stake. Raising it to recover is chasing, not a plan.
  • Count rounds as money: ten ₦200 rounds are ₦2,000 staked.
  • If play stops being fun, use the self-exclusion request form in your 1win.ng account settings and read the responsible play page.

Questions players ask

What is the mine game called?
It is called Mines. 1win.ng lists "Mines" and "Mines 1win" from 1win Games plus Pragmatic Play's Mines; Minesweeper is a separate puzzle with no stakes.
Is Mines on 1win.ng the Spribe game?
No. As of September 2026 the versions listed on 1win.ng are by 1win Games and Pragmatic Play. Spribe's Mines, with its published 97% RTP, is a separate game used on this page only as a reference.
How do you set up a Mines round?
Choose a stake, pick the number of mines if your version offers that setting, and open tiles one at a time. You can cash out after any star.
Can I play 1win Mines without money?
Yes, in demo mode. The 1win Games title "Mines" opens in demo on 1win.ng, "Mines 1win" does not, and a demo balance pays nothing out.
Is there a Mines game app for Android?
Not a separate one. On Android you play Mines in the browser or in the APK from 1win.ng itself, and on iPhone you add 1win.ng to the home screen; the app guide covers both.
Can you predict where the mines are?
No. No primary source confirms how the versions on 1win.ng place mines. In Spribe's own Mines, positions come from a SHA512 hash of the server seed and your client seed, and a past board does not set the next one. No choice of tiles, mine count or cash-out point removes the house edge.
What is the RTP of Mines on 1win?
It is not published for the two 1win Games versions, and this guide has no confirmed figure for Pragmatic Play's Mines. Spribe's 97% applies to its own version only.
