Federal Palace Hotel and Casino address: Ahmadu Bello Way, Lagos

The hotel stands at 6-8 Ahmadu Bello Way, 100001 Victoria Island, Lagos, with the casino off the lobby area of the 5-star hotel. That is Victoria Island, not Ikeja. For a hotel casino on the Ikeja side, Jacaranda Casino Lagos sits inside the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, 30 Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Maryland.

Lagos rules give you two checks at the door: a licensed casino must display a copy of its licence and show the word "Casino" on the front of the building. This page has no Federal Palace Hotel and Casino photos; for pictures, look at the hotel's own website or its Google Maps listing.

Slots and tables: what the casino page lists

The casino page lists more than 100 slot machines and five gaming tables for blackjack, Hold'Em Poker and American Roulette. Baccarat and live game shows are not named there; phone ahead if you came for those.

Slot denominations on that page are quoted in US dollars, not naira. Ask the cashier how naira buy-ins and cash-outs work before your first spin.

The casino page says American Roulette but does not describe the wheel, and the zero pockets set the house edge. Wizard of Odds gives 5.26% on a double-zero wheel (0 and 00), or 7.89% on the 0-00-1-2-3 bet, against 2.70% on a single-zero wheel. Federal Palace casino hours: two schedules that disagree

Federal Palace publishes two schedules and does not say which one is current.

Neither schedule breaks Lagos rules: the Casino and Gaming Regulations 2021 let a casino open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The casino page's weekend line covers slots only and does not say which days count as weekend or when the tables open.

Elucid Poker House: cash games in the hotel's poker room

Elucid Poker House gives its address as the Poker Room of Federal Palace Hotel and Casino, Victoria Island. It runs No-Limit Hold'em (NLH) and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) cash games every night. Tournaments are marked "coming soon".

• Minimum buy-in: ₦50,000.
• Session rule: after buying in you play at least 3 hours and announce your last hands before leaving.
• On the house: drinks, coffee and Wi-Fi.
• Contact: +234 916 923 1810, a separate line from the hotel's numbers.

Who owns Federal Palace Hotel & Casino?

The Tourist Company of Nigeria Plc owns and operates Federal Palace and is the company named against the casino's entry in the LSLGA register. In April 2024, Sun International, which held 49% of The Tourist Company of Nigeria, announced the sale of 43% of its shares to Rutam Finance Company.

The hotel homepage displays a Lagos State Lotteries Board Outstanding Contribution Award in the casino category. Current standing is a register question: Lagos casino licences run for one year and may be renewed.

Lagos rules that bind a Category A hotel casino

Federal Palace Hotel and Casino is one of six Category A (Hotel) casino entries in the LSLGA register on 16 September 2026. The register also holds 11 Category B (Standalone) entries, and the same state rules apply to both.

• 18+ only. Under-18s and vulnerable persons are barred, and their wagers and payouts are void.
• Rules on request. Games follow LSLGA-approved rules, and the casino must give any player a free copy.
• Payout disputes. You or the casino can refer a payout dispute to LSLGA; its decision binds unless appealed.
• No credit. Nobody may give you credit or push you to play more.
• Excluded players. A casino must refuse entry to an excluded person.
• Tax at payout. LSLGA directed licensed operators to deduct 5% withholding tax from net gains at payout, with a NIN required (reported February 2026). Ask the cashier how it applies to your cash-out.
