The 1win betting app in Nigeria at a glance

For betting and the casino, 1win.ng links two Android files, a main APK and an alternative APK, both on its own server. iPhone owners use the site as a Home Screen web app. StatCounter put Android at 81.96% of mobile OS share in Nigeria in August 2026, so the Android steps come first.

The 1win.ng blog describes the app as quick access to your account, games, bonuses and 1win Points, with push alerts about personal bonuses and promotions. The same post says the app does not replace the website.

1win app download for Android, step by step

Android blocks installs from outside Google Play until you allow them. An APK from 1win.ng therefore needs one permission that a store app does not.

1. Open 1win.ng in your phone browser in NigeriaOpen 1win.ng in Chrome, Opera or another Android browser. From outside Nigeria the site returns a "Regional restrictions" page and offers nothing to download.
2. Tap "1win for Android" in the menuThe menu item lists 200 Points for installing the app. The file it downloads is named 1win.apk.
3. Check the address and the file sizeThe link should begin with https://1win.ng/. On 16 September 2026 the main file was 5,254,851 bytes (5.25 MB).
4. Allow your browser to install unknown appsWhen Android blocks the install, tap Settings on the prompt and switch the permission on for the browser you used. Menu names differ by phone brand, and you can switch it off after the install.
5. Open 1win.apk and tap InstallIf the prompt has closed, open the file from your Downloads folder or the browser's download list.
6. Sign in or create your accountExisting players sign in with their 1win.ng phone number or email. New players register in the app with a +234 number, a password and the promo code NGWIN1.

Main or alternative APK: which file to pick

The 5.25 MB file is the main download, and the 57.7 MB file is listed as the alternative. A simple rule: install the main file first, and fetch the alternative only if the main one will not install or open on your phone.

Setting up 1win on an iPhone Home Screen

1win.ng has no iPhone file to download. You add the site to the Home Screen as a web app, and 1win.ng shows install video guides for iOS, including one for iOS 26. An App Store app carrying the 1win name is not linked from 1win.ng, and a 1win.ng account does not need it.

1. Open 1win.ng in SafariType the address yourself. A link tapped inside a chat or social app opens in that app's own browser, which may hide the Home Screen option.

How to tell the original 1win app from a copy

The original Android app is the APK on 1win.ng's own server. Searches for "1win apk" also show APK catalogues and Google Play apps under the 1win name from unrelated developers, none of them linked by 1win.ng. Run four checks before you install:

• Source. The file address begins with https://1win.ng/, and you opened it from inside Nigeria.
• Login. A 1win.ng account signs in only on 1win.ng, so an app built for another site rejects your details.
• Currency. 1win.ng accounts are in naira with no currency switch. An app that asks you to choose a different currency is not running 1win.ng.
• Operator. The 1win.ng footer names BID Entertainment Limited, NLRC National Sports Betting Permit No. 00000045 and Oyo State licence OYSGB/CASB/2592001. Other company details point to a different product.

1win app login and new accounts

The APK and the iPhone web app both use your 1win.ng account, so there is no separate app password. The login form has two tabs: Phone (the default, set to Nigeria) and Email.

• Existing account: type your number after +234 without its first 0, so 0803… becomes +234 803…, then your password. The 1win sign-in guide covers logins that fail.
• New account: the fast form has three fields (phone number, a password of at least 8 characters, promo code) and needs no SMS code. Opening a 1win account goes through each field.
