1win KYC rules for naira accounts
The fast sign-up form on 1win.ng has three fields: phone number, password and promo code. There is no SMS code, and none of the fields asks for your NIN. Identity details belong in the dedicated KYC section 1win.ng has set up for naira accounts, and the rules decide what those details must match.
1win.ng rules and site settings as of September 2026
| NIN | Collected solely for identity verification, AML compliance and KYC |

How to verify your 1win account step by step
You need a working login. No account yet? Open one with a +234 number first, then go through these steps before your first withdrawal request.
- Sign in on 1win.ng from inside NigeriaOpen 1win.ng and use the Phone or Email tab. From outside Nigeria the site shows a "Regional restrictions" page instead.
- Open the KYC section for your naira account1win.ng has a dedicated KYC section set up for naira accounts. If you cannot find it after signing in, ask support where it sits.
- Match your name and address to your legal identityRule 4.1 asks for your true legal name, so a nickname or a shortened first name does not meet it, and the address should be your real one. Compare the spelling with the name on your bank account or wallet as well.
- Enter your NIN and check every digitRead the number back before you save. A single wrong digit leaves the NIN on your account out of line with your identity, which rule 4.1 does not allow.
- Verify your email addressThis is a separate account step, and 1win.ng lists 100 Points for it. Pick an inbox you actually open, since support also replies by email.
- Pay only from a bank account or wallet in your nameThe name on any card or payment account you deposit from or withdraw to must match your 1win.ng account. A friend's or relative's wallet breaks that rule, and so does their money: the rules say you play with your own.
- Send documents only when 1win.ng asksThe rules let the company request documents confirming your identity. Send exactly what the request names, using the checks in the documents section below.

1win NIN verification: what the number is collected for
According to the 1win.ng rules, your National Identification Number is collected solely for identity verification, anti-money-laundering (AML) compliance and know-your-customer checks. Those rules name the operator as BID Entertainment Limited, a company incorporated under Nigerian law. The site footer says it acts under NLRC National Sports Betting Permit No. 00000045 and Oyo State licence OYSGB/CASB/2592001, and our licence guide explains what each number covers.
The same rules decide who may hold an account at all. You must be 18 or older, play for yourself with your own money, and be on your first and only 1win.ng registration. Duplicate or backup accounts can be closed and the operations on them treated as invalid. Signed up before with an old SIM? Raise that older account with support instead of verifying a new one.
1win KYC documents: what can be requested
1win.ng publishes no fixed document list. Its rules say your NIN is collected and that the company may request documents confirming a client's identity. When such a request reaches you, run four checks before you reply.
- Channel. Reply through live chat on 1win.ng or support@1win.ng, the two support routes the rules name. A link or phone number inside the message is no reason to move the conversation elsewhere.
- Content. Send the document the request names and nothing extra. If the wording is unclear, ask which file is needed and in what form.
- Match. A document with a different name or address from your account is the mismatch rule 4.1 forbids. Raise the difference with support before you send anything.
- Password. A document request is about identity, so no genuine request needs your password, whichever channel it comes through. The Telegram support bot 1win.ng links to is @FAQ_1win_bot; a WhatsApp "agent" or any other Telegram handle is not a route the site lists.
Keep your NIN out of group chats
A screenshot of a KYC form or account page posted in a Facebook or Telegram group puts your NIN in front of strangers. Ask support privately instead.
Name match between your account and your bank or wallet
On top of rule 4.1, the rules require every card or payment account used for deposits and withdrawals to carry your account name. The 1win.ng footer shows OPay, Paystack, Flutterwave, Fincra and Interkassa. Whichever method the cashier offers you, the account behind it has to be in your name.
Based on the 1win.ng rules as of September 2026
| Situation | What the rules say | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You pay from a relative's OPay wallet | Payment account name must match; play with your own money | Use a wallet or bank account in your own name |
| Your account shows a nickname or short name | Account data must match your legal name | Raise it with support before you withdraw |
| Your bank spells your name differently from your NIN record | Name and NIN must match your identity; payment names must match the account | Ask live chat how to proceed before you deposit |
| You already have an older 1win.ng account | First and only registration; duplicates can be closed | Recover the first account instead of opening another |
| You are under 18 | Persons under 18 may not take part | Do not register |
Once the names agree, the naira deposit guide covers the cashier, and the OPay funding guide walks through paying from an OPay wallet registered to you.
How 1win account verification affects withdrawals
Verification and payout timing are linked in the rules. Prize money is available for withdrawal within 24 hours after the game ends, and verification procedures can extend that period. Rule 6.11.4 says withdrawals of up to 65,000 NGN are paid to your account within 1 to 60 minutes, and rule 6.15 sets the minimum deposit and withdrawal between 20 NGN and 40,000 NGN, depending on the payment method.
No amount is published at which a check starts, so finish the 1win KYC section and use a payment account in your own name before the first request. The rules also set withholding tax at 5% of net prize money for residents of Nigeria and 15% for non-residents. The withdrawal guide covers the cashier steps, and players moving larger sums should read high roller limits and verification.
1win verification problems and fixes
Common verification snags matched to the 1win.ng rules and site settings
| Problem | What the rules or site say | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Payout still pending after a game | Verification procedures can extend the 24-hour period | Complete the KYC section, then ask support what is outstanding |
| Support raises a name mismatch on a payment | Payment account name must match your account | Switch to a bank account or wallet in your own name |
| Asked for documents, unsure which | No fixed document list is published | Ask support which document is needed and how to send it |
| Second account flagged | Duplicate accounts can be closed | Tell support and keep one account |
| Site shows "Regional restrictions" | 1win.ng is geo-restricted outside Nigeria | Finish the checks once you are back in Nigeria |
| Cannot sign in to finish KYC | Login has a Phone tab and an Email tab | Try the Email tab if your account has one, then ask support |
Live chat and support@1win.ng are both listed as 24/7 in the rules, and registration problems go to the same email address. The customer care page collects the contact routes. If login is what stops you, start with the 1win login fixes.
Is it safe to give 1win.ng your NIN?
You can check what 1win.ng publishes, not how it stores data internally. The rules limit NIN use to identity, AML and KYC checks. The footer carries a Nigeria Data Protection Commission seal linking to ndpc.gov.ng, with a Privacy Policy listed beside the User Agreement; read that policy for how personal data is handled.
Your own part is where you type the number. Check that the address bar reads 1win.ng first, and never enter your NIN on a page opened from a chat message or on a lookalike address.
Can you close a verified 1win account?
Yes. For closing an account, the rules point to the self-exclusion request form in account settings, or to support. Leaving one account idle and opening another later would clash with the one-registration rule. Limits, warning signs and help in Nigeria are on the responsible play page.
