Self-exclusion on 1win.ng: how to close your account
You have two routes under the 1win.ng rules: the self-exclusion request form in account settings, or a request to support, which the rules list as open 24/7 by chat and email.

- Remove the app and saved loginsDelete the Android APK or the iPhone home-screen web app, and clear saved 1win.ng passwords from your browser.
Do not open a second account
1win.ng rules require your registration to be your first and only one, and the company may close duplicate accounts and treat their operations as invalid. A new account after self-exclusion also undoes the break you asked for.

SafePlay, the Lagos self-exclusion tool
The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) launched SafePlay on 6 August 2025. It is free and NIN-verified for adults 18 and over, with exclusions of 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanent. Betting addiction: warning signs in your own habits
Addiction to gambling shows in patterns more than in any single bet. Betting also sits close to many Nigerian homes: in a 2017 NOI Polls survey, 36% of Nigerians said they or family members bet, and 53% of that group bet daily. Check your last few weeks against this list:
- Chasing: raising stakes or adding a slip to recover what you just lost.
- Essential money: betting with rent, school fees or food money.
- Borrowing: loans or selling belongings to fund a deposit.
- Secrecy: hiding bets or lying about how much went in.
- Paying for certainty: buying predictor apps, VIP tips or booking codes to get losses back.
- Failed stops: promising to quit and depositing again, or feeling irritable when you cannot bet.
If any of these fit, stop before the next slip and self-exclude. Talk it through with someone you trust before you think about betting again.
How to stop sport betting: a plan for the first weeks

- Self-exclude on every betting account, not only the one you use most.
- Delete betting apps and switch off promotional notifications and SMS.
- Leave tipster groups and Telegram channels that post odds or booking codes.
- Tell one person you trust and let them see your bank or wallet statements for a while.
- List what you owe and pay the most pressing debts first instead of trying to bet them back.
One relapse does not cancel the plan. If you deposit again, close that account the same day and tell the person helping you.

If someone under 18 is betting
Nigeria's minimum gambling age is 18, and 1win.ng accepts only players aged 18 or older.
